List of Universities That Accept Candidates That Did Not Choose Them in JAMB

If you’re a student in Nigeria, you should know that there are times you will apply to a different school before securing admission into Nigerian universities; simply because you could not meet the cut-off marks for the first school of your choice.

That is when you will apply to another university without choosing them in JAMB. There are many universities that accept candidates that did not choose them in JAMB.

In this article, I would like to share with you, the names of Nigeria universities and Polytechnics, where students can write POST UTME exams and gain admission without choosing them as your school of choice during JAMB registration.

However, keep in mind that there are a lot of educational institutions in Nigeria that takes students who’ve already enrolled for JAMB and written their post UTME examination even if the candidate didn’t choose the university during the JAMB registration.

After going through several admission files online and writing to many university administrators, I was able to compile this list of universities that we’re convinced, that accepts candidates that didn’t choose them while registering for the JAMB CBT examination.

Most of the universities provided below accept applicants from different parts of the country; even allow the students to buy their admission entrance form, and sit for their POST UTME examination and may get admitted after successfully completing the exam.

In general, you should take note; the general admission requirements for most Nigerian universities cut off, are 180 aggregate score in JAMB CBT and a valid SSCE result.
